The caption on the fourth picture is incorrect. The officer to the left of Chaplain Berger is not Bill Fee but Capt. Mark Smith, Chaplain Corps, USN. He is the senior chaplain for the Pacific Area (all the way to Diego Garcia).
Another ceremony is scheduled for Pearl Harbor Day (12/7) on the USS Hornet.

These pictures of the Veterans Day commemoration aboard the USS Hornet captured all the emotions of the event. You can see from the pictures how veterans from all services feel they are part of a family of veterans. You did a wonderful job.

thank you for your great coverage of the Veterans Day parade of over 50 servicemen and women an the USS HORNET 12 in Alameda.It was a very nice opportunity to recognize our country in a nostalgic setting on a historic vessel. these pictures begin to show the emotional side of the memorial in honor of those killed and wounded at Fort Hood, Tx last week. Good reporting and camera work, Shannon.
