I was expecting some sort of self-congratulatory grand-standing piece but it was honest and helpful. Cops will always be in charge at the scene, always have been. Police don't have time to worry about who is the journalist. I think all you can do is keep drawing attention to such issues and keep working for Public Records and press access.
