Madison is available to adopt at Oakland Animal Services.

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every week, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s Madison:

Madison is a friendly, 2-year-old, Cocker Spaniel mix who enjoys chasing balls. He is one of the many animals available for free at the Maddie’s Matchmaker Adoptathon at Oakland Animal Services, June 9 and 10. Go here to see a video and photos of Madison. Learn more at oaklandanimalservices.org.  Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Prim.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
