Russell, a resident of North Oakland, snapped this photo of a brick down a little walking path in Mendocino. ”I like the photo because I imagine the bricks were made in Oakland and traveled all that way,” Russell wrote in an e-mail. “Finding the bricks was completely unexpected.”
