Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every week, we will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Timothy Chapman.

Chapman took this photo of the Dimond District in East Oakland in mid-April. “I was standing on Excelsior by Linwood which is next to the Atenheim,” Chapman wrote in an e-mail.
