Community photo of the week: Night heron

Every week, Oakland North will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Steven dos Remedios.

He writes, “Sylvia and I were having coffee at the Oakland Museum after visiting the 1968 exhibition when we noticed this night heron fly in to check out the koi in the museum pond. The wonderful texture in the reflection is made by the rough concrete of which the museum is built.”
