Thanks to Teens on Target and Oakland North for doing such a great piece giving faces and stories to one of the hardest thing about living in Oakland. Most people I know who have lived in the city for any length of time have had some encounter with crime, often violent or threatening. Oakland: so much to love but so much that is hard. La’Ban, Ivan, Dionte, Wade, Bobbe, thanks for your good work!
