Adoptable Animal of the Week: Splash

on March 8, 2011

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility.  This week it’s Splash:

Splash is a six-month-old male kitten that loves to play and has an inquisitive nature. He likes rolling around with other kittens but is also fairly independent for his age and can have fun alone with a good assortment of toys. A home with older children or adults would be ideal for Splash. His adoption fee is $35 and includes neuter, microchip, and vaccinations. Please consider giving Splash a home. For more photos and a video of him, click here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Splash. You can also go to www.oaklandanimalservices.org.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
