Kicking off ‘Recessionomics’

on February 9, 2009

Howdy, Oakland North readers!

My name is Melanie and I’ll be your faithful recessiononomics blogger here on the site.  I’ll be taking a look at how Oakland is dealing with these crazy economic times–where we’re getting hit the hardest, creative ways to save money, you name it.  This blog will be 150% better with comments and feedback from you all.  What are you seeing in your neighborhoods?  What penny-pinching tips do you have?  Leave your comments below or feel free to shoot me an email at recessionomics@gmail.com.

Oakland North welcomes comments from our readers, but we ask users to keep all discussion civil and on-topic. Comments post automatically without review from our staff, but we reserve the right to delete material that is libelous, a personal attack, or spam. We request that commenters consistently use the same login name. Comments from the same user posted under multiple aliases may be deleted. Oakland North assumes no liability for comments posted to the site and no endorsement is implied; commenters are solely responsible for their own content.
