11.27.09 Black Friday and ACORN
on November 27, 2009
Good morning Oakland,
Whether you’re staying at home to philosophize about the things you thanked for yesterday, or going out to buy more things to be thankful for next year, here are some of the morning’s news.
Many Bay Area retailers have opened their gates shortly after midnight this black Friday, and the shopping hordes have since been active.
The Chronicle reported today that the community organizing group ACORN is facing a drop in donations from many Bay area backers, following allegations of voter fraud and improper advising.
