Happy Tuesday, North Oakland!
Let’s get down to what’s really important–free food. Denny’s is serving up a free Grand Slam Breakfast today from 6 am-2 pm. Only hitch is that Denny’s sole Oakland location is out near the airport. In more serious news, a San Leandro man was convicted of attempted murder of an Oakland motorcycle cop, in a shooting incident nearly three years ago.

For you sports fans: The Raiders have a new defensive backs coach. The Warriors lost last night to the Dallas Mavericks 127-117, with top player Monta Ellis leaving the game in the 4th with a sprained left knee.
