Good morning, Oakland.
In Oakland, four men have been shot to death in less than 48 hours, in four unrelated incidents. So far this year, 27 people have been killed in Oakland. Last year at this time, 30 had been killed.
The American Civil Liberties Union and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights filed a brief challenging the gang injunction that City Attorney John Russo requested in February. A hearing on the issue will take place on April 22.
More than 100 hotels in the Bay Area are in mortgage default.
