We may be saying so long to the iconic Danish Bakery on Telegraph as eviction looms. The bakery has been around for eight decades!

City councilmember Rebecca Kaplan announced she may be campaigning for Oakland mayor. Kaplan began an exploratory committee that will look into raising funds.

The Oakland Zoo is getting closer to finalizing a plan for a new 20-acre exhibit. But controversy abounds.

Last night, the City of Oakland hosted a forum to gain input from the public regarding the new Lake Merritt BART Station plan. The area would encompass Chinatown, Laney College, the Lake Merritt Channel and a number of buildings in the area.
