Adoptable Animals of the Week: Kareem and Jabbar

on November 16, 2010

Oakland North is continuing with our new feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility.  This week it’s Kareem and Jabbar:

Meet Kareem and Jabbar. These energetic, very active brothers are about eight months old. They love playing together and happily entertain each other. They are very friendly with other cats and can even tolerate a cat-friendly dog. These lovable cats need a home where their active, inquisitive, and friendly nature will be appreciated. To see more photos and a video of them go here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Kareem and Jabbar. You can also visit www.oaklandanimalservices.org.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
