Adoptable Animal of the Week: Smitty

on March 29, 2011

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility.  This week it’s Smitty:

Smitty is a young male cat. He has really blossomed at the shelter and loves people and attention. He would do well in a home with kids and other cats. Please consider giving Smitty a home. For more photos and a video of him, click here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Smitty. You can also go to www.oaklandanimalservices.org.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
