Adoptable Animal of the Week: Lavender
on April 5, 2011
Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s Lavender:
Lavender is an English spot bunny. She is a bit shy and could use some extra attention to come out of her shell. She is okay with being held once you have her in your arms and would also be a great friend to another single bunny. Please consider giving Lavender a home. For more photos of her, click here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Lavender. You can also go to www.oaklandanimalservices.org.
Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
