Community Photo of the Week: Occupy Boston

on November 9, 2011

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every week, we will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Cynthia Gorney.

Gorney took this photo of a sign on a tent in Boston. “On brief work assignment in Boston this weekend, strolling through downtown, there was Occupy!” Gorney wrote in an e-mail. “Walked in, began snapping. When I said I was from Oakland, they all looked by turns grave, excited, or impressed.”

If you’d like to contribute to “community photo of the week,” just send a favorite photograph taken in Oakland to ryan.phillips@oaklandnorth.net with the subject: PHOTO. Please make all photographs large-sized and in jpeg format.
