Oakland police seek help finding missing woman

on November 16, 2011

Oakland police asked on Wednesday for citizen help locating a 32 year old woman named Ying Ying Li, who has been reported missing since failing to return home Nov. 14 from Laney College, where she is a student.   Li, who is Chinese, speaks limited English, police said, causing her family to fear for her safety.   She is 5’4″ and weighs 102 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and carrying a gray and black backpack.

Anyone who locates Li, police said, should try to assess her medical and/or mental health needs and call the OPD Special Victims Section at (510) 238-3641.
