90s Dance Party Ride
Gather at 7:30 pm, roll out at 8 pm
Meet at Oakland Coliseum BART station

A community bike ride on flat streets, with an all-ages party afterward at NIMBY. Bring a bike light and your helmet. More info here.

For the Love of Primates

Oakland Zoo: 9777 Golf Links Road, Oakland

A date night at the zoo, featuring interactive drumming led by percussionist James Henry, information on primates and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Budongo Snare Removal Project in Uganda. Admission $20 per person, and RSVP encouraged. More info here.

Jewelry Trunk show with Designer Sharon Zimmerman

The Love Show opening reception

Volunteers can work on a variety of tasks including carpentry, seed planting, plumbing work and more to benefit the center. Followed by a “Souper Sunday” community potluck dinner; bring a vegetarian dish or something to add to the “stone soup.” More info here.

    To toot my efforts please note; Tomye’ : Living Artist has Artwork at the Richmond Art Center, a solo exhibit within the Rockridge Library, Oakland’s Gray Loft Gallery, East Oakland Leadership Academy, and the SF State Building.
