Community Photo of the Week: Love for Lake Temescal
on March 28, 2012
Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every week, we will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Melanie Peterson.
Peterson snapped this shot of a duck on the sandy beach of Lake Temescal. “A slightly overcast and wet day, and I loved it!” Peterson wrote in an e-mail. “As I started taking picures, the ducks all seemed to be pretty interested in what was going on (me writing in sand and taking pics) and this little one was the bravest of them all.”
