Bay Area Ladyfest
Various locations and times
A festival celebrating the work of women, queer and transgender artists, featuring exhibitions, film screenings, performances and workshops. All funds raises will be donated to Lyon-Martin Health Services. Event runs September 14-16 at locations throughout the Bay Area; Oakland locations include Farley’s East, 510 Feelmore, Rock Paper Scissors and Girls Rock Camp. More information here.
East Bay Bike Party
Gather at 7:30 pm, depart at 8 pm
Meet at Mosswood Park, Oakland
This month’s theme is “September Schoolyard Sellebration” and the ride goes through Oakland and Berkeley. Come dressed in something that reminds you of back-to-school, and schoolyard games will be encouraged. Food by the Jian Bing Johnny’s food bike will be available for sale before and after the ride.
