Are you looking for something fun to do on Halloween? Oakland North has compiled a list of spooky events happening in Oakland: From a dance party celebrating Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to a costumed stroll among the animals at the zoo, there is something fun for all ages. Thrill the World Bay Area

Each year, thousands of people around the globe gather to break the world record for the largest simultaneous dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Zombie costumes encouraged. All ages are welcome. The schedule is:
9:30 a.m.—Dance classes begin.
11:00 a.m.—Costume Contest.
12:00 p.m.—Thrill Time
12:10 p.m.—Bay Area Flash Mob

Boo at the Zoo

Lakeshore Avenue Fall Festival, Trick ‘r Treating Parade and Crafts Fair

Saturday, October 27, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Lakeshore Ave Baptist Church, Oakland

Children will gather at the church to parade down the street in their costumes at 11 a.m., collecting treats from merchants. There will be mini-pumpkins, crafts and face painting at the fair, and treat bags will be available for costumed kids.
