Community photo of the week: Oakland by RC helicopter

on April 3, 2013

Every week, Oakland North will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Lloyd Ranola.

He writes, “Here’s a photo taken early in the morning from above West Oakland. I took this from an RC [remote controlled] helicopter (or so called ‘drone’; I hate that word). I took this from up high to get a nice shot of the sunrise coming up over downtown.”

If you’d like to contribute to “community photo of the week,” just send a favorite photograph taken in Oakland to with the subject: PHOTO. Please make all photographs large-sized and in jpeg format. Oakland North cannot pay for community photos, except in gratitude and local love.

It is nice playing rc planes, and its my hobby too since i was in 12 yrs old. This is a good project for all rc plane collectors in which they can donate some charities to less fortunate people. tiger coupons
