Adoptable animal of the week: Roscoe

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every week, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s a dog named Roscoe.
Roscoe is a 6-month-old shar pei and pit bull terrier mix puppy. He is a happy, fun-loving guy who is very treat-motivated and adores training. He has been attending training class and already knows “sit,” “down,” and “look.” Roscoe has good dog skills and could probably live with another dog. His high energy makes him a better match for an adult-only home.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit–which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare–and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
