Final summer dance class brings ‘Black Panther’ to Jack London Square

on September 12, 2018

On August 31, Carla Service led this summer’s final edition of Dancing Under the Stars, a community dance class series held at Jack London Square. Each class has a theme, and that night’s was the movie Black Panther, a theme Service chose because of its positive impact on children in the community.

Service said she likes to teach this class to see the diversity of people who attend and engage with her. “I bring everybody together,” she said.
