Gay marriage suppporters take case door-to-door

As supporters and opponents of Proposition 8 wait for a decision in the Perry v. Schwarzenegger federal trial, same-sex marriage proponents continue to draw attention to their cause. Gay and lesbian couples marked this Valentine’s Day weekend by visiting San Francisco City Hall and trying, unsuccessfully, to get married. And volunteers with Equality California have embarked on an ongoing strategy, going door-to-door in an attempt to change the minds of those who voted for the same-sex marriage ban.
