OPD offers $15,000 for information in the killing of Oakland teen

The Oakland Police Department is offering a $15,000 reward for information in connection to the killing of 13-year-old Jimon Clark, who was shot to death Wednesday.

Clark was just a month shy of his 14th birthday when he was killed on the 6100 block of Bancroft Avenue in East Oakland, according to CBS 5 news.

The teenager, who one teacher called talented and hardworking, had just graduated from Frick Middle School and was to start at Skyline High School in the fall.

Anyone with information can call the Police Department’s homicide unit at (510) 238-3821.
