Oakland Police Chief LeRonne Armstrong said Thursday that at least two shooters fired 30 or more rounds on the King Estates school campus in East Oakland Wednesday afternoon, wounding six adults, two of whom are students. Fairyland’s Storybook Puppet Theater at Lake Merritt held its 65th annual Puppet Fair Weekend at the end of August, inviting children to discover what is said to be the oldest continuously operating puppet theater in the country.
