Last Thursday, Project Ethos hosted a celebration of local art, music, and fashion at Ruby Sky nightclub in San Francisco. A 50-foot white runway sat in the middle of the ground floor and served as a stage for the band before the fashion show was scheduled to start at 10 pm. 600 people attended Project Ethos’s first Bay Area event.

Oakland designer Zoe Hong is a 31-year-old emerging fashion talent in a region rarely recognized for its style. Hong is currently working on her third season, a 10-piece mini-collection for summer, and is planning a larger collection for Fall. She sells her creations at and, as well as in three boutiques, including The Factory in San Francisco.
