Do Something About It: Earth Day
on April 13, 2009
It’s the little things that count, and boy, do we need a lot of little things right now.
Earth Day is coming on April 22nd, and on the 18th, you can help right here in Oakland by volunteering at one of the city’s designated clean-up sites for just a few hours. And, of course, this doesn’t have to be a one-time deal. The site gives you other ways you can help your environment, right here in Oakland, throughout the year.
Oakland North welcomes comments from our readers, but we ask users to keep all discussion civil and on-topic. Comments post automatically without review from our staff, but we reserve the right to delete material that is libelous, a personal attack, or spam. We request that commenters consistently use the same login name. Comments from the same user posted under multiple aliases may be deleted.
