1. UC BERKELEY CAMPUS
Location: UC Berkeley campus
Address: Bancroft & Telegraph, California Hall, Sather Gate

7 am-12 pm picket lines at California Hall and Sather Gate
12 pm rally at Bancroft & Telegraph
1 pm starting point of march to Frank Ogawa Plaza
2. FRANK OGAWA PLAZA
Location: Frank Ogawa Plaza
Address: Intersection of 14th Street and Broadway, Oakland
What’s going on here, and when:
End point of march to downtown Oakland.
12-4 pm: Rally
4 pm: Oakland Education Association president Betty Olson-Jones will speak at the nearby State Building (1515 Clay Street)
3. FRUITVALE BART
Location: Fruitvale Bart
Address: 3301 East 12th Street, Oakland
What’s going on here, and when?
11 am: Rally
Starting point of 11:30 march to Frank Ogawa Plaza, then on to San Francisco
4. LANEY COLLEGE
Location: Laney College
Address: 900 Fallon Street Oakland

11 am: Walkout and rally, followed by march to Frank Ogawa Plaza
5. OAKLAND TECH AND ALL OUSD SCHOOLS
Location: Oakland Technical High School and all OUSD schools

7:30 am: Picketing in front of schools
9:15 am: fire drill to serve as symbolic gesture noting the “disaster” in public school funding. Approximately 2,700 teachers and 39,000 students are expected to participate
6. STATE BUILDING
Location: State Building
Address: 1515 Clay Street, Oakland
What’s happening here, and when?
4pm press conference with Superintendent Tony Smith, Oakland Education Association president Betty Olson-Jones, and a number of unions. These include the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 257 Morris Tatum, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Local 771, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1021 and the United Administrators of Oakland Schools (UAOS).
