And to pump our own stories a bit today – the new team has been churning out copy after a long weekend spent all over town. From recording the mini-drama of a sit-in at the Golden Gate Childhood Development Center to learning about scraper bike safety from Oakland’s own scraper bike king, Baybe Champ, they have left no stone unturned.

Our new team is spending the week at a multimedia boot camp – the better to bring you slideshows and videos all year long – so if you have any thoughts on issues they should cover, let us know now!
