Adoptable Animal of the Week: Star
on October 19, 2010
Oakland North is adding a new feature to our site. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will be spotlighting an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s Star:
Star came to the shelter with his brothers and sister when they were about 1 month old. Now Star is close to 10 months old and is looking for a home of his own. All of his siblings have been adopted and now it is Star’s turn. Star is a sweet boy and has a fun personality. He likes to play on the ground and use you as a jungle gym. He loves treats and is litter box trained. Please visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Ave Oakland 94601 and ask to see Star, ACR #29467. You can also visit www.oaklandanimalservices.org.
Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.

Of course, the adorable animal feature only happens when I leave. Well played, Kerr.
Bless you for doing this Oakland North!
Good news–Oakland Animal Services says that Star has been adopted.
