Adoptable Animal of the Week: Savannah

on November 23, 2010

Oakland North is continuing with our new feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility.  This week it’s Savannah:

Savannah is a sweet dog with a cute smile. She loves to run, play ball and learn new tricks—in fact, she can already sit and is learning more new tricks just to continue playing fetch. She would love a home with a runner and after a full day of fun she loves to cuddle and sit in your lap. Please consider giving Savannah a home. To see more photos of her, go here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Savannah and bring her number: #35258. You can also visit www.oaklandanimalservices.org.

Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.

How could you not fall completely head over heels for this girl? Look at those beautiful brown eyes!
