Community photo of the week: Onlookers at the Oakland Christmas Parade

Oakland North is continuing with our new feature. Every Wednesday, we will publish a photo submitted by one of our readers. This week’s photo is by Steve Place.
Place took this photo during Oakland’s 2010 Christmas Parade where marching bands demonstrated their music skills, cheerleaders sashayed and giant balloons of Winnie the Pooh and candy canes floated above the crowds.
