Adoptable Animal of the Week: Belinda
on January 4, 2011
Oakland North is continuing with our new feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s Belinda:
Belinda is a fluffy grey and white cat with a white chest and facial markings and four white feet. Her medium length hair requires occasional brushing. Belinda is about 3-years-old and still has some of the playfulness of a kitten. She loves people and will curl up on your lap and keep you warm on chilly nights. Please consider giving Belinda a home. To see more photos and a video of her, click here. Her adoption fee includes spaying and routine shots. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Belinda. You can also visit www.oaklandanimalservices.org.
Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
