Oaklanders react to Osama bin Laden’s death

on May 2, 2011

The decade long man-hunt to find Osama bin Laden is over, and Oaklanders have a thing or two to say about it. We took an iPhone out to the Temescal District to hear some local residents give their reactions.

    I agree with Alaina. “Celebrating death” seems weird. An opinion piece in the Christian Science Monitor suggests this is a “time for somber reflection, not silly celebration” –
