Adoptable animal of the week: Wilson
on May 24, 2011
Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every Tuesday, Oakland Animal Services will spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption at their facility. This week it’s Wilson:
Wilson is an active young bunny. He is inquisitive and loving. Wilson always likes to come see what you are doing–not that it matters because he very quickly lets you know that petting him is way more important than anything else. Please consider giving Wilson a home. For more photos of him, click here. Visit Oakland Animal Services at 1101 29th Avenue, Oakland, CA and ask to see Wilson. You can also go to www.oaklandanimalservices.org.
Part of the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Animal Services is both an Animal Control unit—which is in charge of the city’s public safety and animal welfare—and a shelter, which helps abused, neglected and abandoned animals within its facility.
Oakland North is an online news service produced by students at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and covering Oakland, California. Our goals are to improve local coverage, innovate with digital media, and listen to you–about the issues that concern you and the reporting you’d like to see in your community.
