Adoptable animal of the week: Eddie

on May 31, 2011

Oakland North is continuing with our feature. Every Tuesday, we spotlight an “Animal of the Week” that’s up for adoption.  We usually have an animal from Oakland Animal Services but this week we are highlighting Eddie who is living in a foster home in North Oakland.

Eddie is a 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is house trained and always eager to learn more tricks. He knows how to sit, stay and shake. Playing tug-of-war with a rope is one of his favorite games. Eddie can be a bit territorial in sharing with other dogs but is good with children and is always happy to meet anyone on walks or at the park. He’s always smiling, wagging his tail and looking for head scratches. Eddie would do well as an only dog or with another dog that is fairly submissive–he loves to play and wrestle with his other dog friends.

Eddie is part of Russell Rescue of Central California and his adoption fee is $200. For more information and photos of him, click here. If you want to know more about Eddie or are interested in meeting him, e-mail Joy at joyoneil@hughes.net.
