Oakland North has compiled a list of spooky events happening in Oakland: From a dance party celebrating Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to a costumed stroll among the animals at the zoo, there is something fun for all ages. Lakeshore Avenue Fall Festival, Trick ‘r Treating Parade and Crafts Fair

Children will gather at the church to parade down the street in their costumes at 11 a.m., collecting treats from merchants. There will be mini-pumpkins, crafts and face painting at the fair, and treat bags will be available for costumed kids.
