Bah! Humbug!
I’m thankful for the gift of FORGIVENESS….to forgive someone I believe abandoned me physically and/or emotionally is therapeutic, it benefits me far more than it benefits the other person. I have learned that holding on to resentment from my past is toxic and emotionally harmful to me. No matter how hard I tried, it spilled over into other relationships. This was something I struggled with and could not deal with on my own. I am very thankful for making the decision to ask for help and for having the strength to push through the pain….ultimately freeing MYSELF.
