Oakland residents’ hopes for the New Year

on January 5, 2014

There’s a lot to look forward to this year in Oakland. Artists continue to flourish and the city’s gaining a reputation as a hub for tech companies. Residents are also coming together for projects that are making the city more bike and pedestrian friendly. For the New Year, we asked Oakland residents what they were most excited about this year what they would like to see change.

Some asked for more resources for Oakland youth and others asked for more love. The responses show how interested and engaged Oaklanders are with the well-being of their neighbors and the local youth.
