After years of struggling to adapt and find a place to fit in, horses brought Oakland’s native Brandi Weintraub the peace and balance she desired. Now, she works to replicate the experience through City Horse, a program that aims to help at-risk students in the East Bay by teaching them the principles of horsemanship.
