North Oakland Now
BART is on the brink of a strike that will start on Sunday at midnight. Hasanni Campbell is still missing. According to his foster father, Louis Ross, Campbell was last seen in North Oakland. Ross spoke to Oakland North and some other Bay area reporters to clarify a few details. Ross is scheduled to take a polygraph test today.
Serious police action this evening on a stretch of Rockridge’s College Avenue, the block just north of Chabot. Multiple squad cars are parked across College and police are turning away auto traffic and pedestrians while remaining tight-lipped about what’s underway, which they are so far describing as a “missing little kid.” Two people were shot in East Oakland this morning.
