There was a shooting in North Oakland yesterday afternoon. Two young men were shot in the 5800 block of Shattuck Avenue according to the report in the Trib. 11.25.09 BART review and Thanksgiving plans

Good morning Oakland, The BART police department review committee meets this morning at 9am.  Full report from Tom Gorman later today. Tomorrow, the local non-profit organization Humanity Hope, Inc. will hold its ninth annual community Thanksgiving dinner.  The traditional dinner will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Humanity Baptist Church, located at 1051 54th Street in Oakland Planning to work or travel tomorrow? Good morning, Oakland. Emeryville police are investigating the death of a man who crashed his car Monday afternoon into the 3400 block of San Pablo after he was shot a few blocks north. This week’s meeting of the BART police department review committee tomorrow at 9am is bound to include discussion about the scuffle between an officer and a passenger last Saturday.
