A look inside The New Parkway
on December 6, 2012
Before the end of the year, Oaklanders will be able to, once again, enjoy an evening at the movies while lounging on comfortable love seats and drinking beer. The New Parkway’s management is currently putting the finishing touches on their remodeling before opening the theater’s doors to the public.
The new theater is nearly 8,000 square feet, has two floors and features two screening rooms with a seating capacity of 145 and 125 people each. It will have a full commercial kitchen and a café from which people will be able to order pizza, burgers, fries, salads, soups and appetizers, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Customers will be able to order wine and beer on tap from the bar.
The New Parkway is located at 474 24th Street, right off of Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. For more information, visit http://thenewparkway.com

I thought they were opening on Nov 30? What happened? Their twitter feed says the next event was Dec 11 and no mention of the Nov 30 date.
