Oakland Athletics, fans celebrate start of 2017 season at FanFest
on February 6, 2017
The Oakland Athletics and their fan base took to Jack London Square on January 28 to celebrate the beginning of the upcoming 2017 baseball campaign. It was the first time in nearly two decades that the A’s held their annual festival in Jack London Square, the potential home of a new A’s stadium.
The fans were able to meet their favorite players, get autographs and get excited for the upcoming season together. New team president Dave Kaval addressed the fans at Jack London Square, thanking them for their support and ensuring them that the team will stay in Oakland.
