Teens create graphic novels depicting their immigration and refugee experiences

on November 12, 2009

Students at Oakland International High School come from across the globe. As immigrant and refugee youth, they represent over two dozen countries from Nicaragua to Mongolia and speak over 29 languages. In an art class they have created illustrated stories that document their lives.
