Health care reform, and what it means for you
on October 17, 2010
The first round of health care reform just went into effect last month. The new law promises to have a profound effect on our healthcare system, but at over 1,000 pages long, it can be a little intimidating to try to go through it and figure out how it applies to you.
So two intrepid reporters at our sister site, Richmond Confidential, created an interactive tool to help people navigate the changes that affect them. You can click through to see what happens if you are uninsured, have a pre-existing condition, or want to extend coverage to children up to 26-years-old.
