Fiery arts, crafts and steampunk Santa at The Crucible

on December 12, 2010

Oakland forge and glassworks The Crucible opened their 56,000 square foot studio to a craft fair Saturday. Blacksmithing demontrations, glass blowers and 70 artists were on hand, crafts were offered and Santa arrived on a steam-powered locomotive called “Pappy.” The free event continues Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm at 1260 7th Street, Oakland.
